What is your favourite item of dollie clothing?

I have so many wonderful outfits. It's impossible to say wich one is my favorit. I do have LOT of amazing clothes for LittleFee and PukiFee made by Spampy. I also love the demin shirt and jacket made by Sharon in Spain for my Narae . . . oh and a MNF set from Fairyland and . . . . well I have too many.

All I can say is that Spampy and Sharon in Spain (Dambuster) are my favorit people to commission for clothes. They both make wonderful quallity clothing.

Finally back!

I haven't really had the energy to update for quite a while but I'm starting to get it back. Just hoping it will stay that way for a long time.

Anyway I didn't mention that I got the DollZone 1/4 Annie in tan skin in the beginning of November. She is just soooo beautiful and I love her more and more each day. Let me introduse Katarina.

Just before Christmas I finally got the mermaid tail for my White Skin PukiFee Bonnie. Here is Mims.

She has informed me that mermaids need to have all the gummi bears they can eat at least three times a week. And what do I know about mermaids?
Here she's wearing a top my friend Annefia made for her.

Quite a while back I bought two 1/4 DollZones from the marketplace at DOA They are both white skin and they are a Mo who's called Vargan and a modded Annie who's called Vendelin. They are siblings.

Vargan is a name I made up myself from the Swedish word varg wich means wolfe. He came with a face-up and I bought his eyes that were Enchanted eyes made especially for him. I love him so much.

Vendelin doesn't have a face-up yet but will soon be leaving to get one. She looks like this:

Because of the bright sunshine you can't really see the colour of her eyes but they are the same colour as her wig only perhaps slightly darker. I'm so looking forward to seeing her with a face-up.

And finally a picture of Vargan, Vendelin and Katarina. Katarina is an Annie too but because of the modding they look very very different.

I guess that's the most important news for now.

What do your family think of your dolls?

I don't have much family. Or at least I don't have much contact with most of the family I have - except my son. He thinks it's cool that I have something I'm interrested in and love but is not really interrested beyond that. He does listen patiently if I tell him about my dolls and he was slightly interrested in Desmo being a vampire. (He likes vampires. LOL) I don't tell him a lot about them though. Don't want to strecth his patience too far. LOL

Have you ever had a floating head? What about a headless body? (What do you think you would do if you had either?)

Yup! I have two extra LittleFee faceplates that have their own eyes/wigs/personalleties/names and they count as heads, don't they?

I also have a Custom House Junior Ai Spia head. She has a face-up by Xhanthi and is called Rosala. And I have a MNF Lishe WS head that have eyes and I know I want her to have a pink wig but she needs a new face-up. I don't have any headless bodies. The only one I ever had was the old body my Lati Blue Censya had before she got a DollZone body. And I sold it soon after my Censys Linnea got her new body.

As for the LittleFees they are three sharing the same body and I'm not completely sure I'll ever get two more bodies. The ones sharing is Penny, Shilling and Secret. Secret still doesn't have a face-up though.

I plan to eventually get a body for both Rosala and my Lishe - DollZone both of them.

I also have three MNF sleeping heads that I hope to some day have modded open and given face-ups and stuff but I really don't count them and they are just in a box. They are no in any way "persons" yet.

What do your friends think of your dolls/dolls in general?

First of all: Yes it's right there never was a day 11 question so it's not because I have messed up I haven't posted one. LOL

My friends have somewhat different reactions to my dolls. There's my friend who first brainwashed me into getting my first one and the friend I brainwa . . . ehhh inspired into getting one. Then there's one that just ignores them and some that think they are pretty but are not interrested beyond that. I also have a friend who finds it a little funny that I collect dolls. She thinks it's wierd in a sweet way. Basically I don't think I'd be close friends with anyone who were not tolerant and open enough to accept my dolls. I tend to not like narrowminded people that much. (And they tend to not like me that much either. LOL)

I love pacages

Today the mailman brought me a pacage from my wonderful friend Annefia. It was a box full of sweet and wonderful things. There were two PukiFee dresses and two tops for my PukiFee mermaid Mims that she crocheted herself, some cute little buttons, a set of jewellery, a seashell big enough for Mims to sit in and some other bits and pieces. My mood went up at least 10 points because og it. LOL I promise to take some pictures later.

You know it's wonderful to get a sweet and caring pacage like that but the love behind the pacage means even more than the pacage itself. It makes me feel loved.

Quark (PKF Hamster boy) has named his hamster Booh! That way he can hide behind doors or sneak up behind people and shout BOOH! - and then claim that he was just calling for his hamster.

What is your least favourite size?

25 - 30cm adults like Barbie size. I think Amaryllis my Soom Mini Gem Uyoo elf is a lovely doll but the size is just not for me. She is beautiful though. See?

Also SDs are just too big for me and anything smaller than a PukiFee is just too small.

What is your favourite size?

That's a really hard question. I mean I can't really say because I love all the sizes I have MSD - 25 - 30cm kids like LittleFee and 16cm PukiFees. I don't like one of them more than the others.

However when I talk about 25 - 30cm kids like LittleFees I don't want them mixed up with 1/6 dolls that are adults and more or less Barbie size. They are very different from the kids.

I have two Real Pukis but they are actually too small for me. I can't really do anything with them so they are just standing around looking cute. I do tend to go awwwww over the very small dolls (Like Squee 6cm) - I used to love small things, the smalle the better - but I can't really handle anything smaller than a PukiFee. (16cm)

When I was little my eyesight was very bad and I didn't get glasses until I was 6 years old. This ment that my moter skills weren't developed like they should have been and I still feel the consequence of that. Not that it really matters so much most of the time but it does when dealing with real tiny things. So no more dolls smaller than 16cm for me.

Biggest size you own? (Have held/seen/like)

The biggest size I own is MSD. So far my DollZone girls are the biggest with their 43cm but when I get my DollZone Mo in January he'll be the biggest since he'll be 46cm. The biggest size I've heldt is an SD - not sure wich one is the biggest though. Apart from the very first one (70cm) I saw - and held - I have heldt a few SDs at meet ups.

There's many very beautiful SDs that I admire but they are too big for me for several reasons. They are just too heavy and difficult to drag around, they are too expensive and they take up too much space.

When I say that they are too expensive it has to do with the fact that it would be difficult for me to save up for them ad long as there's smaller and much less expensive dolls I also want. I just don't have enough self-control when it come to money.

What/who was the very first BJD you saw?

The first BJD I saw in real life was a 1/3 (70cm) DollZone huy. I think it was a Yuu but I'm not sure. He was supposed to be Severus Snape. He belonged to a woman I ment on DOA who happened to live in the same town as me. We met and had coffee in the city and she brought her doll. This was back in March 2008

The first one I ordered was Ilvara my DollZone 1/4 Feilian. However while I was waiting for her I bought three other dolls - one that was in stock and two off The Marketplace on DOA. So the first one I got was Ulja a Tinybear Moona. She has resently moved to live with my friend Asneth. Ilvara I'm not getting rid of EVER! I just love that girl so much. In some wierd way she is me - if that makes sence.

This afternoon the mail man delivered Katarina my DollZone 1/4 tan Annie to me. I think I'm in love! Take a look and then you might understand - even though she's much more beautiful in real life.

She looks much more serious than I thought she'd be but IMO she's very very beautiful. I really wish the photos could do her justice.

Do you own any? If so how many and if not, do you have any plans to at the moment?

I have 27 full dolls, two extra LittleFee faceplates with personalleties (and face-up eyes and wigs) and a head also with everything except a body. Then I have a MNF OE head with eyes and an idea of a wig but she needs a new face-up before becommimg a "person" and I have a blank MNF Juri 2010 head and three MNF sleeping heads but I have no imidiate plans for any of them. I also have three incomming dolls all DollZone 1/4 - a tan Annie that's been shipped and a WS Mo and a WS modded Annie that I have on layaway. The last two are second hand and from the same seller and I'll get them in January.

As for plans . . . I do plan to get a LittleFee Chiwoo - I already have a wig and I am waiting for the eyes I want to come in. I also want a LittleFee DES or Lishe with a custom face-up. I have both eyes and wig for her. I also plan to get rid of 4 dolls. I want Amaryllis my Soom MiniGem Uyoo Elf to go and live with my friend Annefia and I plan to sell my three CH kids.

And then there's all my wishes. At the moment the ones I wish for the most is a MNF Mirwin and a PukiFee Cupid . . . and perhaps a PukiFee Pong as well.

Catses and more catses

Everyone are getting cats - except me. One of my friends just got the cutest ragdoll kitten and another friend just got two shelter cats - one senior cat and a deaf white kitten with blue eyes. (White cats with blue eyes are in most cases deaf) My son is also talking about getting a second cat.

I really wish I could have a cat but you have to be realistic and think of the cat's best interrests. I wouldn't be able to take proper care of it so it would be very selfish to get one anyway. Whenever you are thinking of getting a pet you should always consider the pet's interrest. Are you going to be able - and willing - to give them the care and attension they need? Can you afford vet bills? After all it is a long term committment and it's very important do do the right thing - rater than do what you feel like right now.

So even if I really wish I could have a cat or a dog I'm not getting one. I guess I'll have to comford myself withn the thought that I have three incommimg dolls. Even though they are not fluffy and warm and soft they are still very cute and make me smile.

It's a dangerous place!

The Marketplace at DOA I mean. I was browsing it just to know what people were selling and then I came across two - yes two dolls that I fell in love with. They were even from the same seller. I just had to PM her and ask if she would accept a layaway. So I ended up buying both. Oops! The moral of this of course is that you should never even look at the Marketplace at all.

The dolls won't be comming home until January because I wouldn't want them to get caught up in the Christmas mail rush. They are both ws DollZone 1/4s - a Mo with a beautiful face-up and a modded Annie without face-up. I have already contacted the face-up artist I want about a spot in February. I have a beautiful Leeke wig and some eyes that will look great with it for the Annie and I'm getting the Mo with both his eyes and his wig.I am very happy and excited.

This of course means that the LittleFee Chiwoo boy I was planning to get next will be delayed. I already have his wig and have decided his eyes. I will be notifyed when they are back in stock. I also have eyes and a wig for a LittleFee girl but I haven't decided if she'll be a Lishe or a DES. The Chiwoo will have blonde hair and very blue eyes and the girl will have a beautiful red Kana Wave wig and green eyes.

Before all this I will get my tan DollZone Annie though. I'm hoping she'll be here some time during November. I also finally found out what her name was. She's called Katarina. She'll have green eyes too and I have three different wigs so I hope she'll like one of them. They are all brown.

The Fairytale of The Two Heads

Once upon a time there was a doll company called Custom House. They had event after event after event and the crazy Danish woman knew they were really really slow sending their dolls out. Still she was stupid enough to buy two heads as a split in a group order. Then the waiting began. And she waited and waited for over a year. She started to think she would never get the heads but finally they came.

The person doing the group order lived in USA and since the crazy Danish woman wanted face-ups by an American artist, she asked the person who ran the group order if she would be kind enough to hang on to the heads for a while.

Then the crazy Danish woman waited again. After months she finally got the chance to get the face-up artist to do her heads. The talented artist Xhanthi did a wonderful job with the heads and the crazy Danish woman was very happy. She ordered wigs - and while she was at it she ordered wigs for two other dolls as well.

She also ordered some special eyes for the bigger of the two heads, but they hadn't turned up when the wigs came. The crazy Danish woman really loved the wigs though and couldn't wait to show them. Even though her pictures weren't the best. It was just some quick ones she took when she received the wigs.

Here's picture of the little Bisou girl. Her eyes are a bit wonky because my fingers are too big to place them right.

Julliane's background

Like most of my dolls of course Julliane has a background too. Her mom died when she was very little - perhaps 1½ year old. So she grew up with her mom's brother that was 20 years older than her mom and his wife. They didn't really care about her. They just wanted her so be well behaved and look adorable so they could show her off to friends. They didn't understand her at all and they didn't want to try. They saw her like a doll or something.

Her aunt used to dress her up in pink with lace and frills and ruffles and such and she was always told to be careful and not make her clothes dirthy. The result is that she hates pink and lace and ruffles. She likes simple clothes in more or less dark colours - or at least not pastel.

She was never allowed to be with other children either and she is very very shy with very little confidence in herself. When she first came here she had no idea what to make of the other kids. However Vigdis who is also somewhat unsure of herself even though she's not shy like Julliane started to talk to her. They bonded very fast and have become best friends. They have much in common and they really need each other. And they are so cute together.

A shiny new one.

So last Sunday a week after my computer went down my vey good friend Grafty came to visit me. Or rather my computer. He quickly found out that my graphis card card had died. (I'm thinking of having a funeral for it.) So he borrowed me a small graphic card - you know the kind you can't really use to play games.

After he left I wanted to talk to my friend Annefia on Skype . . . and my microphone didn't work! I managed to talk to her on my laptop but it was really annoying. The next day I texted Grafty about it and he told me to make sure that the headphone was pluged in properly. It was. Then he told me to check if the plugs in the back was plugged in properly - wich they were. At least I at first thought they were. Until I realized he had pluged the microphone in the wrong place. When I told him he said something like: Oh okay really there you go who would have thought that wonders will never cease but isn't it lovely weather today. (This was 10pm and it was dark)

Then today he came back with a card we had agreed he should get for me. It's somewhat better than the one that died so it's very cool. My computer is actually 7 years old (and Grafty build it for me) but it's not that bad because back then is was SUPER good and fast. Even before I was able to play Settlers 7 even though the graphic would lag a little now and then. Now of course it doesn't lag at all. I'm very happy.

All of this of course have ruined my dolly plans. I was trying to save up so I could get a fullset next time Fairyland have an event but after having to pay a PukiFee - ehhh I mean about 250$ for a new graphic card I'm not sure I'll be able to do that. Sigh!

I hate when that happens!

I have decided to try and update more often and also talk a bit about none doll stuff in this blog. Instead of starting a new blog I'll just change the way I use this one.

Yesteday my computer broke down. I was playing a game when all of a sudden it wasn't turned on any more. Once again I realized how difficult it is for me to do without my computer. I have a laptop - a very old and cheap laptop but I have trouble using it. The screen is way too small, the keyboard is difficult to use and I don't have anywhere I can sit comfertable when using it.

The solution to those problems is of course to hook it up with the keyboard, monitor and mouse I normally use for my desktop. Sadly I can't do that myself. Not that I wouldn't be able to figure it out. After all it's pretty straight forward but it involved going down on the floor and I can't do that because of my physical problems.

Luckely my son was able to come and set it up for me. He's such a good boy. Or man perhaps - he's 31. LOL

The hours between my computer broke down and I was on my laptop was horrible though. I didn't know what to do with myself. I couldn't Check my e-mail and talk to my friend in Sweden, I couldn't check forums or anything or look for new dolly stuff to want to buy for several hours. A true nightmare I tell you. I'm sure I have been traumatized by it! LOL

I wanted to take some pictures of all my kids but it was too much to take them all. So I just took my LittleFees. I couldn't bring Penny though because she shares a body with Shilling. (And when I get her face-plate Secret)

It had been raining and it was pretty gray and it was 6.30PM when I was finally ready to take the pictures. I think they light is really pretty though. It looks so soft.

The family is growing

My resin family keeps growing. First I ordered a DollZone Aimi in WS. Then totally spontaniously I ordered a 5StarDoll Quitus. He turned up first. His name is Desmo - short for Desmodus Rotundus.

Desmo is an unusual vampire though. The reason he has come to live here is that the other vampires doesn't want to have anything to do with him. First of all he's a really nice and kindhearted guy and then he's allergic to blood. Poor guy. LOL Having grown up with vampires he has never learned to interact with people in a normal friendly manner so he's kind of socially akward. He is a bit introvert and he really admires Maylea. (Who really admires Tjalfe. LOL)

The next one to m ove in was Tindra - my DollZone 1/4 WS Aimi. She hasn't told me anything about her background yet. She's a quiert and soft girl. And very beautiful IMO

She seems to have become close to Senja (MiniFee modded Shushu) wich I find surprising because Senja is an alien and very unusual in some ways. Amongs other things she's like 211 years old. But look at them together!

My next doll was a Fairyland LittleFee Luna named Julliane. She grew up with her uncle and aunt. Her oncle was her mom's brother but he was 20 years older than her mom. They never really understood her - or even wanted to. They saw her as something they could show off. Her aunt loved to dress her up is lots of frilly pink stuff. The more the better. She was always told to be careful and not get her clothes dirty and she was never allowed to play with other children.

She is the only one of my dolls (so far) who's generally shy. She has totally bonded with Vigdis though. This is a wonderful thing for both of them. Oh ans she hates wearing pink and loves simple clothes in darker colours.

When Julliane arrived I also got a WS PukiFee Bonnie without face-up. Her name is Mims and she's going to be a mermaid. Her face-up is done but I'm still waiting for her tail so you won't get to see her until she's finished.

First off a picture of my Lishe head. She still needs eyelashes and I want to fix something about her mouth. I think I can do it even though I'm not very good at face-ups. This is just a small fix.

A couple of days ago I got a shipping notise for Desmo my 5SD Quintus. I'm SO much looking forward to getting him home.

The reason Desmo is comming to live with us is that the other vampires don't want to have anything to do with him. First of all he's actually a sweet and kindhearted guy and second he's allergic to blood. Poor guy but I hope he'll be happy here. LOL

I have some really exciting news! (At least exciting for me. LOL) I got a tax refund and was able to order a WS PukiFee Bonnie and a LittleFee Luna. Bonnie is going to have a custom face-up, light orange hair and green eyes and freckles - and she'll be a mermaid. Her name is Mims.

I ordered Luna with default face-up. I'm not sure about her eyes yet but I have a Jpop wig in a beautiful golden colour that I'll proably use for her. I have some purple eyes but I think she should have gray or bluish gray eyes. I don't have a name for her either. I do know what sort of clothes she likes though. She doesn't like colours that are too light or bright. I don't expect them to be home for a long time so I'm trying not to think too much about them.

New beautiful eyes

I resently got som new eyes from Ginarolo on DOA For quite a while I have wanted to upgrade Gro's eyes. They used to be Safrin Doll acrylics but now she has beautiful glass eyes. She also got a haircut. But she says that if you liked her braids not to worry because her hair will grow out again. (As in I still have the other wig. LOL)

While I was at it I ordered some new eyes for Miripihka. I have been trying to find the right eyes for her ever since I got her. I didn't like her default eyes at all. I never succeeded - not until now that is. These are PERFECT IMO. It's just her eyes. It's such an amazing feeling when you find something and it turns out to be just perfect.

I just love this girl so much.

I also bought a MNF Lishe head at The Marketplace at DOA. It was so beautiful and I have wanted a Lishe for a long time. I only want the head though because even though I love the MNF body I want most of my girls - and guys - to be taller. So if I find a MNF head I want at The Marketplace and the price is resonable I'll get it if I can find the money.

This head is a WS and has a really nice face-up. She's going to have a DollZone body even though I'm not sure how their WS resin match the Fairyland WS resin. I'll just have to see when the head gets here.

TOF - (Twitcy Order Finger)

So I had an attac of TOF and accedently ordered a 5SD Quintus. It was a combination of him being awfully cute, free shipping and layaway that got my finger to twitch and order him. At least that's what I suspect caused it. LOL

I'm not sure yet if he'll have orange hair and eyes or green hair and green eyes. His name is going to be Desmo. It's short for Desmodus Rotundus.

I'm very excited and can't wait to get him.

I have been wanting a DollZone WS Aimi for a very long time and the other day I was finally able to order her. The next day her name came to me. She's going to be Tindra which is a Swedish name and means shimmer. I think it'll be just right for her. I have had her wig and eyes for quite a while and I'm so looking forward to getting her home.

I cut Aimi's face out of a picture from the site and fused it on a photo I had of Miripihka trying out her wig. I also changed the colour of the eyes. It's far from perfect but it gives me a sense of how she'll look.

I have also ordered a dress for her from Sharon and I think it'll be beautiful. I have the fabric myself and shall send it to her. I just hope the shoes I ordered the other day will match. Keep your fingers crossed! LOL

Very sad news

This isn't doll related but I just feel I have to post about it.

Tuesday morning I got a call from my friend Jytte's oldest daughter. She told me that Jytte had died the previous day (January third) in a fire. I have know Jytte for almost 30 years and even though we didn't have much contact the last years I still loved her. She moved to another city and she didn't have internet and wasn't the type who enjoyed chit-chatting on the phone. I always felt that if we met after a minut it would be like we talked yesterday.

Jytte had a very difficult life from her early childhood and had to struggle with a lot of problems but she was a fighter. She always fought so hard to make her life better and grow as a person. And she did do a lot of growing even though it was a slow process. I always admired her for her will to work through things. It feels so unfair that bad things continued to happen to her - and in the end it killed her.

She raised three beautiful daughters and she sertainly had a huge possitive impact on my life. I hope that she can finally have the peace and happiness she truely deserves. Goodbye my dear friend, you will always be remembered.

A little one, two face-plates and a big one

I was thinking about getting either a WS PukiFee Bonnie or a WS DollZone Aimi. It was a hard choice but I finally decided on the PukiFee. Leave it up to Fairyland to completly ruin your plans though. Just before I ordered my PukiFee they came out with two new MiniFees and I just fell head over heals with the new Chloe fullset. I just HAD to have her. Apparently I wasn't the only one. After only being up for 12 hours the fullset was sold out!

I was devastated but a couple of hours later Fairyland had decided to make some more fullsets and I hurried to order right away. Phew I managed to get her.

Then while waiting for her I did something baaaad. I had a severe attack of TOF (Twitchy Order Finger) and accedently ordered a PukiFee Ante that ThinkPink had in stock. Meet Sif. (Like the Norse goddess)

She's an orphan but she tells everyone that she's actually a real princess. It's a secret of course. LOL

And things went down hill from there. before I knew it I had bought two LittleFee face-plates - A modded sleeping Rachel and a modded sleeping Shiwoo. The Shiwoo is called Penny

And her cousin is called Shilling. They think of themselves as sisters though. Their moms were identical twins and they spend their first years with their grandmother.

And then Seffia - my MNF Chloe fullset arrived. She had bright turquoise eyes and I didn't like them at all with her other colours.

I imidiately ordered some other eyes but in the meantime I tried another wig on her. I like her so much like this that I was considering keeping her that way.

Then her new eyes arrived. I really loved the colour of her default wig but it wasn't a very good quallety. It was the kind of wig that gets messy really fast. I found this Tinybear wig I bought a long time ago. It didn't work at all for the doll it was intended for but I wanted to try it on Seffia. Especially because it has the same purple colour as her outfit. Even though it doesn't look like that in the pictures because they are not taken in natural light.

I just love her like that. She's soooooo beautiful IMO.

I think it's about time I update again. LOL One of the things that has happened since last is that I stumbled upon a modded sleeping Shushu head in the Marketplace at DOA. And I just fell in love with her. She was even in the EU so no problems with customs. I bought her and immediately ordered a wig and some eyes for her. I thought it was okay if it took quite a while before she got a body and was thinking of getting her a DollZone body.

But plans are ruined and not long after this I accidentally saw a MiniFee A-line body - also inside EU - at the Marketplace. I of course had to buy it. So now she's a complete doll. She's got a lot of attitude and I love her.

Her name is Senja and she's an alien but have lived here since she was a little kid around 40 years old. (She's 257 now) She's a shapeshifter but haven't shifted to another form for more than 200 years. (Not since she was 52 and a man tried to harm her. She shifted into a wolfe and killed him. (She and a few others from her world might actually be the origin of the warewolf myth.)

After all this time she's not even sure if she is still able to shift form. And she doesn't know her tru - or origial form. She's so used to posing as a human. The only thing she can't change no matter in what form is her eyes.

Last week I send Kieron's head (Breakawar scar head - and arm) to a face-up artist since I expect his body to arrive at Think Pink any day now. They'll ship the body directly to the artist.

I have never really been happy with Emmelia's face-up so I decided to have her completely redone at the same time. I'm so looking forward to getting them home.

Friday I got a slip from the postman about a pacage and I'm pretty sure it's the LittleFee girl body for Secret (Sleeping Lishe) I ordered a while ago. Her face-plate however is in Sweden with my friend Annefia who's going to give her a face-up.

Last time I posted I didn't mention it but I was at a creative hobby fair where some BJD people had a stand.

It was really wonderful to meet other people who were interrested in BJDs. I was there both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday I got to talk to this girl and we decided she would buy three of my dolls. Tamaya, my Resin Sould Ju that I never really bonded with - I think she disliked me right from the beginning - and Hekla and Eydis, my twin Bobobie Sprites that kind of didn't fit in with the others. I'm very happy with the sale and I like the fact that they stay together.

This also allowed me to order a body for Kieron, my MNF Breakaway scar head and arm - and I've made arrangements for his face-up and blushing. I'm SO looking forward to getting him.

At the moment I'm really looking forward - and getting a bit impatient - to getting Roeskva and Vigdis (Female MNF Shiwoo and LittleFee Ante elf) home. The face-up artis is sick so it'll take a couple of weeks still - at least. Sigh!

Meanwhile I have been thinking a lot about Ilvara and her story. I started a blog about it a while ago. Ilvara's Story.

While thinking about her I realized that all my dolls actually live in this world of their own. They all live in or around a small village called Skovby. The RealPukis, My Sleeping Elf tiny Moona and my Soom Mini Gem Uyoo Elf are all creatures living in the wood. Miripihka lives in a hut by the beach and Ilvara lives in a cottages a little bit away from the village itself. The rest lives in the village.

Finally an update!

I really should update my blog more often. Too many new things to tell all at once this way.

Roeskva and Vigdis (MNF and LittleFee Ante elf) finally arrived and their heads/face-plate was send off to Italy for face-up. This time they arrived safely.

Shortly before that my DollZone babies arrived. Miripihka (Finnish word for amber) the Feilian 3 fullset is soooo beautiful. I just changed her eyes because I didn't like the default ones. Here she is with her default eyes.

And then with the ones I got her

She's a witch and she lives in a hut at the beach. She gather herbs and make potions and help animals like seals. She helps people too but does her best to not let them too close to her. She's mysterious, in some ways withdrawn (but that's mostly to protect herself from being hurt) and she has a purity of heart. She's much more connected to nature than to people. She hasn't told me anything about her background yet so I don't know anything about her parents, her childhood or where she came from. And she is just so incredible beautiful in my opinion -

- and so different from Ilvara my other Feilian! She is holding one of the Christmas babies - baby D - that came with my DollZone order this time.

I also got Maylea the BB Ani I ordered. I just love her!

She's my little wild thing. She's the kind of kid that will hang by her ankles in the chandelier or jump from the top of the closet onto the bed because she's playing she can fly. She's very active and adventurous and not afraid of anything. She's also full of joy and loves life (and people unless they give her a reason not to) and she feels everything very strongly. She doesn't sit around feeling things though or talk about things - she does things!

Her mother was Ilvara's sister. Her grandmother and Ilvara's mother was a troll, who and what her grandfather was noone knows. It's likely that her dad was human though even if nobody knows who he was. Her mother was killed in some sort of accident and she was send to be reaised by her aunt Ilvara - who didn't even know she had a sister before she was asked to take care of Maylea.

The long and sad story

At the same time I ordered my Real Pukis - September 11th - I made another order at Fairyland for a female MNF Shiwoo and a LittleFee Ante elf. They were supposed to be send directly to Italy to a face-up artist. But because they didn't have the correct phone number the Italien customs send the dolls back to Fairyland - despite the fact that the face-up artist had both phoned them and written e-mails to them. Sigh!

After the dolls came back to Fairyland I had them send to me and they are currently at the Danish customs. Hopefully I'll get them next week some time.They I'll have to send the head/face-plate off for face-up. It's so annoying because they should have been here ages ago. It's been more than 4 month. Sigh again!

On the brigther side in December I ordered a Feilian 3 fullset and a BB Ani from DollZone Spain. This means I'll also get two Christmas babies. I asked for B and D. They said in my order status that the dolls are supposed to be shipped from DollZone China on January 25th. That is very very fast! I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that it's true.

In November I got the AOD Rao I ordered. She's so beautiful and I'm so glad I decided to get her in tan. Meet my new girl DeeDee

Her name is actually Deelafay Ashgrove but she grew up under the name Deirdre Crumplebottom but the reason for this is a long story - and I'm not going to tell you at the moment.

She looks very striking but the pictures aren't really that good. I got to get some better ones. Even though she looks so striking her personallety is very quiet. She's not shy or paticular introvert just very calm and relaxed and never making a big deal about herself . . or anything else for that matter.

What I never got around to do.

There have been things happening I never got around to post about so I'll try and catch up a bit.

First of all my three Custom House babies - Krusemynte, Pipaluk and Kristoffer got home from Australia. That is their heads got home. They had visited my friend Whitewings and she gave the the most wonderful face-ups.

I wasn't quite happy with the wig Emmelia was wearing. It was a perfect colour but there was something about the style that was wrong. Then I got some wigs I ordered from Acquire a while ago. I thought I'd try one on her and it was PERFECT!

Something very exciting has happened. My RealPukis Bille (Soso) and Humle (Tyni) are on their way home. They actually arrived in Denmark Sunday early afternoon wich means they'll have to spend the rest of Sunday and the night - at least - in that nasty evil place called customs. My poor babies!

I just hope the custom people will decide how much they want in ransom first thing Monday and send my little ones on their way to me.

A little creature in the garden

Yesterday I opened the door to my garden just a little bit to get some fresh air in and then I went shopping for groseries forgetting to close it. When I came back I found Gro talking to this little creature. Gro says she's called Onion and that she's homeless and can she please stay? It seems Gro found her in the garden nakid and very cold.

She doesn't say much and she speaks so quiertly and is very difficult to understand. Gro seems to be the only one who understand what Onion is saying. She's very cute though.

I finally finished my move and are settling in to my new appartment. I really think I'll love it here.

Moving stress

At the moment I'm all stressed by the move. After all I'm moving in three weeks and a lot of things just isn't ready yet.

I have packed up all my dolls except Gro, Tjalfe, (They are so small)Ilvara, (I love her too much to live three weeks without her) and Emmelia - my SoulKid Apple. Well actually I still only have her body but the head will be here within a week as it was shipped from Holland today.

In the meantime I was going through all my dolls clothes and organizing them better. I also got two pair of shoes with Emmelia's body. So I changed Ilvara's clothes and I think she looks soooo cute in this:

Finally my SoulKid Apple arrived at Think Pink. Now I'm just waiting to get her home. I'll get the body and a few other things I ordered first and the head a bit later since it's visiting SchwarzStein from DOA for a face-up before comming home. I'm so looking forward to meeting my Emmelia since I don't know much about her yet.

Another thing is that I'm moving very soon. I just got offered an appartment on the ground floor and I'll probably move within a month. It's going to be a very difficult process for me for various reasons but it will be much better once I get setteled the new place.

And they are on their way.

Saturday I shipped the heads of my three Custom House kids - and my PukiFee Hamster - off to the spa. They are going to visit a friend in Australia for treatment. It's very exciting but I'm of course going to miss them while they are gone. And I'll be worried about them too. I hope they will have a safe trip both ways.

Doesn't it look sad . . . and somewhat creepy too? LOL

I begin to get a bit unpatient waiting for my SoulKid Apple. I ordered her through ThinkPink April 2nd and they ordered from SoulDoll April 25th. It's been over three month now and I think in's beginning to be too much. Sigh!

A new blog!

I couldn't resist. I had to make a new blog just for the little funny stories about Gro and Tjalfe. It's called Gro's Blog. I actually got to bed way too late because I was busy making this new blog.

My three Custom House dolls are going to have their heads send off to the spa tomorrow and I think I'll have to put their bodies away in a box. It would be too creepy to keep them out just standing there headless. At the same time Quark - my PukiFee hamster face-plate is going for a treatment too. I'm so excited about it!

I had ordered some clothes for Tjalfe - LittleFee Shiwoo - from Spampy and a few days ago they arrived. Tjalfe is very happy to finally have some real boy clothes.

Gro was unhappy and perhaps most of all surprised that there wasn't anything for her. LOL

It's now been more than 4 month since the order for a SoulKid Apple I placed with Think Pink was send to Soul Doll. I'm starting to be impatient to be honest. I want to have my Emmelia home soon.

I was so happy to get my PukiFee Shiwoo Boris fullset. Soon after ordering I started to find out that it was actually a girl. Her name is Gro. The hamster face-plate is it's own person, a boy named Quark. He will be using most of the fullset stuff. And of course he wants his own body. LOL

So much has happened since I updated last time. First I took some pictures of all the stuff I had for my incomming PukiFee. Have a look!

First there's all the shoes. Only the two pairs to the left in the first row and the three pairs to the left in the second row are new. The others I already had. I bought them for Ulja (Tinybear Moona) and Amaryllis (Soom Mini Gem Uyoo Elf)The new shoes are from Ruby Red.

And hair and eyes. The wig is a custom colour from Tinybear (pale blond with periwinkle) and the eyes are 10mm sable glass eyes from Ginarolo at DOA

Then the body for Tjalfe - my LittleFee Shiwoo elf face-plate - was on it's way. That ment I had to pull my act together and get the face-up done. And now I was working I gave Pipaluk and Kristoffer a face-up too.

I'm not too happy with them, especially not Kristoffer. Pipaluk might be technically not so good but the face-up expresses her personalety like I wanted. Anyway here they are:

July 14th I could finally pick up poor Tjalfe's body at the post office. I was soooo excited to finally put him together. I'm so in love with this boy. He's such a sweet guy. A little serious and thoughtfull though he's got plenty of humor. He's also a very clever little guy. Sorry he's full of hair from his haircut.

At first I didn't have any clothes for him. I had a pair og blue pants with flowers and pink edges I got for Krusemynte but . . .

After a while I managed to talk him into accepting a purple t-shirt and I made him some shorts. Here he's hanging out his favorit place just beside my computer monitor

As I say in my profile I always loved dolls. And that love have expressed itself in different ways over the years. Among other things I have played The Sims and later The Sims 2 a lot. And I have also made pixel dolls for some years. Like thise!

I guess it's kind of obvious that I like fairies. LOL

Not much news about my BJDs. I have decided to not do the face-up on my SoulKid Apple myself and are making arrangements to have the head send directly from ThinkPink to an artist.

Anyway I'm really really happy with the outfits. They are so cute and so well made.

I finally got the two Custom House dolls I had been waiting for since December 31st!

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about them after waiting for so long and being so frustrated but of course I fell in love with them.

Picking them up wasn't without problems though. First of all Custom House hadn't marked them down like they usually do so I had to pay 150$ in tax and customs! I think it's completely unfair for a 377$ parcel!

This ment I had to go to the post office to pick the up - and pay ransome to get them. I'm disabled and and can only walk very little and it hurts to stand and wait so I have this eletrical 3 wheeled moped thingy. So off I want the 3½km to the post office - and just as I was in the middle of the door my moped broke down. Sob!

I managed to get my parcel but then had to sit an hour and wait for help. All this also ment that my moped had to go away to get fixed and they didn't have another one I could borrow so it's quite a big problem for me. I can't go out at all without something to drive on. I was told today though that it can't be fixed but I'll get a new one - wich could take a while.

I was heartbroken about it but now I know I'll get a new one - even if it's going to be really really hard waiting for it. I just hope they'll be fast.

So for several days I didn't feel happy about getting my dolls at all. They still managed to creep into my heart some way though.

Here's Kristoffer. He's 12 years old. He often seems very mischievous but he's actually a really sweet guy. He just have such a warm heart.

This is Pipaluk his little sister. She's 7 years old and she's very good at looking sweet and innocent but she's not that sweet at all. Most of all she's selfish and good at manipulating people. I had bought two 6/7 wigs for her but they were both too small - wich is wierd because Kristoffer's wig is the same size. So I had to give her a temporary one.

Here's Pipaluk with their smalles sister. Her name is Krusemynte and she's 5 years old. I have had her for a while. (She's the reason I wanted more Custom House dolls.) She's a very sweet girl. She's also very naive and believe everything she's told. She mostly speak in questions.

Kristoffer is a Custom House Little Junior Icarus, Pipaluk is a Petite Ai Gabriel and Krusemynte is a Ange Ai Uri. I have to say though that I would never ever get another Custom House doll. Not only because of the long and frustrating wait but also I'm not so pleased with the quallety of the tow last dolls. Kristoffer is fairly okay even though he doesn't feel so nice as Krusemynte but Pipaluk is NOT worth the money at all. Not only does the Petite Ais not pose nearly as well as Ange Ais even though the are much much more expensive but there's something wrong with her legs and knees. Take a look at a picture of the knees.

I have to say that if I had know about these issues I would never have ordered from Custom House at all.

On a brighter side I have ordered a PukiFee! I'm so happy and excited. I ordered a Shiwoo Boris fullset. I can't wait to get it. *Does a happy dance.*

New wig

Today I got a wig - custom colour from Tinybear I asked for a dark green wich is kind of difficult to make. She made it as dark as she could and the colour is absolutely PERFECT. Very very beautiful.

It's for my LittleFee Shiwoo Elf Tjalfe who is still only a face-plate. On Thursday I'm paying for his body in a split and the order will go out to Fairyland not long after that.

Speaking of Tjalf I have cleaned off my first try of a face-up and he's ready for me to try again. :o) It probably won't be until after the weekend though.

I have been terrible frustrated because I ordered two dolls - a Petite Ai Gabriel and a Little Junior Icarus from Custom House December 31st and not only haven't I gotten my dolls yet but there have been a lot of wrong dolls send out and dolls with flaws. I'm quite worried that my dolls will be the wrong ones or have serious flaws. And to be honest I was pretty upset when I saw that Custom House is having yet another event before they have sendt out all the dolls from the last one.

On the brigt side I just payed the last instalment on a second hand DollZone body for Linnea. (Lati Blue Censya) I was never impressed with the Lati body. The body will be shiped from GB today. Yeah!

Also the Karsh MNF sleeping head I ordered through a split at DOA is now at the local post office so the person who runs the split/group order will get it today or tomorrow. I'm not that impatient to get it though. It will be nice seing it irl but I don't consider it a "person" yet. I want to try my hand at modding and open the eyes. However the way Fairyland makes their sleeping heads now with no eye well at all I'll have to wait till I can get a Dremel. No way I can do it just using an eye beveler.

Some more good news is that the Gumdrops eyes I ordered - two sets - will be sent to the supplier from Gumdrops this week. I'm really looking forward to getting them.

Aaaaaand I ordered a PukiFee Shiwoo fullset! I'm SO excited about that. I ordered him - although I plan to make him a girl - May 17th. I can't wait to see her.

The body for my LittleFee Shiwoo Elf face-plate should be here first though. I'm hoping in three weeks or so.

I don't know if I mentioned it but I'm also waiting for a SoulKid Apple that I ordered through ThinkPink in April. The order went to SoulDoll April 25th and SoulDoll is somewhat behind on orderes at the moment so I don't expect her to be here for quite a while.

On Friday my son came to visit. I have a big problem applying eyelashes because my moter skils are not very good (because of a problem in my childhood) and my eyesight isn't good at all either. But when my son was here he put eyelashes in Tamaya. (Purple Resin Soul Ju) I think she looks adorable with those thick lashes. :o)

Today it's the most wonderful spring weather. The sun is shining and it's quite warm outside. I really wanted to go out with my camera to take some pictures of the anemones in the nearby wood (and one or two of my dolls of course) but sadly I can't. I'm disabled and need a mobility scooter (a bit like an electrical wheelchair) to get around and it broke down Thursday. It won't be fixed until Monday at the earliest.

I should probably sow snaps and buttons on the new skirt I'm making. It's all that is left to do until I have an intire new outfit. I'm not sure who it's for yet though.

I also want to share a new picture of Hekla. I really like it a lot
